How to Get There & Around

Flying

Ryanair operates regular scheduled flights from Stansted to Pescara airport. Car hire can easily be booked and the house is a 30 minute drive from the airport. There are also flights connecting Paris, Brussels, Berlin, Frankfurt, Catowice, Kiev, Lviv, Bucharest, Tirana, Marakesh, Majorca, Prague, Barcelona and then internal flights to Turin and Milan.

Air One fly from Milan Linate to Pescara.

There is also a service to the United States.

Other Ways

As Pescara is almost directly east of Rome , there is the option to fly to Rome (from various UK airports), pick up a hire car and drive across. The journey from either of Rome's two airports to Pescara, which takes you across the scenic Abruzzo Appennines, takes around two and a half hours. You could also fly into Ancona Airport, the drive down the east coast will take just under 2hours.

There is also a ferry service between Pescara and Croatia
