What's the Weather like in Pescara

In the summer the average temperature of both areas are quite similar: 24° on the coast, 20° in the interior. It is a dry heat not humid so it is far from insufferable. However, in late June & July it can climb to over 30°, perfect if you are a beach bunny for developing that tan but probably not the best time to visit if you don’t like the heat.

Abruzzo’s mountainous ‘continental’ thermal temperature (incl. Casetta Lucciola) is always lower due to its natural air conditioning system. The Apennines let out heat during the night, counteracting the lower temperatures caused by the higher altitudes
